The Master Bed

I’ve been away from blogging for a few days, busy with projects. Now’s the time to start showing what I’ve been working on.

Things are moving forward now with the Master Bedroom makeover. If you remember my goal was to create a seaside feel to the room. I teased a while back with this, heavy as heck headboard and footboard. I found it while junking for $45.00. This is where it started.

Then into the garage it went for sanding and carved ornament additions.

I painted all the pieces white, and then followed up with a mocha glaze.

More bedroom changes coming soon. And for another tease. I’ll be sharing the project below later this week.

  6. It's gorgeous Sherri. Love the colour glaze you used, and the carving. I found a double bed head with carving on it for $30 but we didn't have the trailer and were 40 minutes away. Your whole bed looks fantastic.
